2012 Conference notices:
February 27 to 29: The 5th Asia Blind Union General Assembly is scheduled. This mega event will be held at Hotel City Park, Delhi, India. The Women’s Forum will meet on the 27th and the ABU regional conference focused on the UNCRPD is on 28th. The General Assembly will be held on 29th. March 11 & 12 - the 5th Women’s Forum, and
March 12, 13 & 14 - the 7th Congress. Theme: Citizens Participation in Local Development = Total Inclusion.
March 15 & 16 is the ULAC General Assembly with participants from 19 countries and ULAC delegates.

September 17 to 20: IAPB 9th General Assembly is taking place in Hyderabad, India. For details go to: http://9ga.iapb.org/
November 8 and 9: The AFUB 7th General Assembly will be held in Thailand just before the WBU/ICEVI meetings. (see below)
November 10 and 11: WBU’s Diversity Forum will take place and
November 12 to 16: WBU’s General Assembly is scheduled, and following that,
November 15 to 18: ICEVI’s General Assembly will take place. (ICEVI= International Council for Education of People with Visual Impairment).
